nternational cooperation is vital to any university in its pursuit of excellence that leads to a ranking among high-performing global universities. The nature of scientific research today demands multi-disciplinary cooperation no matter the core scientific field underpinning the research.
Since its establishment in 1387H/1976G, King Abdulaziz University has paid special attention to international cooperation and opened itself to the fruits of such cooperation. The University works hard to increase the level of cooperation when it comes to global scientific research in all fields. We have encouraged all aspects of constructive cooperation with international bodies and universities as we strive to achieve our stated mission: “Our societal responsibility: developing knowledge, scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.” And we augment that with our commitment to being a pioneer in community development and international cooperation and partnership.
The international agreements that we are a part of have been fruitful in producing achievements geared toward serving society, protecting the environment, and improving the University’s output. These achievements have resulted from international cooperation in educational and research programs, academic accreditation, training programs, registered patents, and other developments knowledge, and providing that were made possible by our commitment to extending cooperation, exchanging expertise to our partners.
International partnerships comprise an important axis for the social structure of universities in the context of their development, the quality of their performance, and the activation of their role in the world, both near and far.
